Rodeo Tour

Welcome back to the Rodeo, Friend.

I see you couldn’t resist the call.  Whether you are here because you watched me self destruct my life and want the juicy deets, generally love and support me, are curious AF about my mental capacity, or are genuinely looking for the useful bits to change your own life, I am happy you are here.

The life I am living is not wildly unique, though in my old circles it certainly is, but there’s a whole ass community of people that live the van life, car camping, or nomadic , style way of existence.  Those who have done it or do live it, often will tell you it is the most freeing experience of their life.  It opens doors…and highways, or questionable country roads in my case, you’d never expect to roll down.  The experience of being able to chose to go anywhere you want, whenever you want is unlike anything I’ve personally experienced before.

That’s not to say this life comes easy.  There are many things about living in a house that require little to no thought, when functioning in your day to day life.  Such as water.  Need water, turn it on.  Need a bathroom, open the door.  Have cold groceries, electricity.  Those things require conscious thought and planning when living in an SUV.

When I set my eyes on this venture I envisioned a cute converted Skoolie parked near the most beautiful views, while I wrote my blog and book as my fur babies frolicked.  I cooked delicious and nutritious meals for us.  Moved my body with intention every day and got in the best shape of my life.  Life would be peace, love, adventure, growth and loads of new experiences and memories.

That’s not what happened…not even a little but I did see some really beautiful views…and I have absolutely had growth and loads of new experiences and memories.

The Rodeo Tour started on November 23rd, 2025 when I drove out of the driveway of my home and hit the open road with no plan, not enough money, way too mush shit, and an unhinged and delusional idealism that it was just going to work out.  And honestly it really has.  Life on the road may not look how I thought it would  and it has been hard earned lessons but I have learned so damn much so far.  I have seen so much so far.  I truly love experiencing this feral little life.

I am by no means an expert in this life, there is still so much I don’t know.  I had a thought recently though that maybe if I share what I have done, where I  have fucked up, the tips, tricks and tools that helped keep me safe and going on the road, maybe I can open a door for someone to escape a bad situation through.  Maybe, if show that if I can do it, they can too.  Maybe, they will find a hope long since forgotten, and a spark long thought extinguished.  Maybe, someone will see my choices for the savings they could use to get them out of financial ruin and into the life of their dreams.   Maybe if I show you how fun it can be you will take a chance on following your wildest adventure too.

If there is just one thing I can teach you from the contents in this blog its Fuck Fear, and just do it scared…you will be better for it.

I see you, I hear you, I love you.
